Ariel\'s Grotto

Is Ariel's Grotto open all the hours that the park is open? Could I start to queue up right before morning Extra Magic Hours expire? Would it be less crowded at 11:30 pm after all the little orincesses have gone to bed? I would love to see Ariel, but I don't really want to stand in a long line for it. Thanks for the help

Re: Ariel\'s Grotto

According to Steve's site Ariel's opens at 9 (when the rest of MK does) so you should be able to queue up early during EMH in order to be at the front of the line.

I'd recommend that, as we waited one day for 45 minutes, and I vowed never to do that again

Re: Ariel\'s Grotto

when we were in MK last year, the grotto closed earlier than the park, so I wouldn't wait until after princesses bed times -- Ariel is one too!

Re: Ariel\'s Grotto

I would definitely get there as early as possible. We always try to visit Ariel first thing or you will end up waiting in a very long line. Like Marnie, we did that once and vowed never to let that happen again!

Re: Ariel\'s Grotto

you can 'queue' up anytime you want. you just can't enter the grotto queue, but you're more than welcome to line up outside of the attraction and i think you'll find a line often does form.

Re: Ariel\'s Grotto

We waited a good 45 miniutes too. My dh wouldn;t let me stand in line to meet Ariel during our trip just the two of us, so this last trip, I was not budging on it!!

Re: Ariel\'s Grotto

I'd LOVE to hear what you think of this because NOT ONCE have we ever made it in there!! It's either closed for refurbishment or just too darned crowded and I would love to know what I'm missing!

Re: Ariel\'s Grotto

Everyone I know who has been has told me to beat a quick path to Ariel's Grotto as soon as I can get into the park. Thankfully since my daughter and I have an 8am ressie for CRT, by the time we get out the plan is to head straight over to get in line for Ariel. I can't handle waiting 45 minutes to see a character when I can barely wait 5 minutes for a latte at Starbucks.

Of course, if DD sees Tinkerbell's Treasures, then my carefully-crafted plan may get shot to hell.
