I haven't seen the new parade yet, but over at the DIS blog, one of their reviewers watched it and posted about it: HERE
It looks VERY similar to the Disney Dreams Come True parade; from her pictures, almost all the floats are the same; just some color changes here and there, and different costumes for the CM's not on a float.
Personally, I was never really that impressed with Disney Dreams Come True parade; a not-to-miss parade for us is the Pixar Block Party Bash over at DHS.
Wow, looking at the pictures not much has changed, kind of a bummer when you were expecting something new and exciting. Oh well we haven't seen the parade at DHS since they changed it!
Thanks for sharing that blog/pictures.
I was kinda hoping for a bit of a bigger change - I had read they got rid of the snowglobes, which they did. Also looks like they changed to colors. If we run into it, we'll watch, but it's not on our 'to do' list.
The Block Party Bash parade in DHS is one I'm looking forward to!

It just occurred to me there might be a very good reason this parade has reused so much of the previous parades' floats - namely, the new Move It! Shake It! Celebrate It! Street Party parade debuting in February. Since it's scheduled to perform 3x's daily, in addition to the afternoon parade, fiscally, it makes sense that Disney wouldn't spend much more money on a parade that's sure to take a backseat to this new spectacle. (And with 3 showings, it's obvious that's where Disney's throwing their money towards).
Thanks for that, Molly. I'd heard there was a new parade coming, but hadn't done any research.
So, this is street party? Anyone know whether it's like Block Party Bash and essentially a parade, or is this a castle forecourt type show?
Eileen
UPDATE: I found a few blurbs about it: (sounds like it will be a parade/party that will go from Town Square to the hub, but not continue out to Frontierland.)

I think the new Stitch dance party going on over in Tomorrowland is going to be more of a "stationary" experience, whereas from what I've read Move It! starts at the beginning of Main St and winds its way back to the castle. I'm assuming it's going to be very similar to Block Party Bash, but somehow, I think that it's probably less intense/complex if they're going to be doing it 3x's daily. Also, according to Bradk's Serf's Up Newsletter, they evidently debuted it during the taping of the Christmas Day parade.
So, will the 3 o'clock parade "go away" while the Celebrate It thing is doing it's thing 3x daily? Or will it be performed in addition to the 3 o'clock parade?
