I had a weird experience with Tigger and my 2 year old! We were at Crystal Palace for Bfast and my hubby and 4 year old were up at the buffet. Anyway Tigger came over to Chloe and geez! He really pulled her into him and she hit her head on his nose, then he pushed her back and really patted her head. It was weird! Chloe got all teary eyed and wanted me to hold her. I am sure Tigger didn't realize he was so rough (hope so anyway) but got to wondering if anyone else had a story? lol

No never anything like that but when DS3 was getting his pic taken with Jiminy Cricket he kept knocking him in the head. He was amused just not sure Jiminy was. I could see my mom holding his arm down for the picture
Well, Pooh trampled over my 2 year old at Crystal Palace. I know he didn't see him, but he knocked him down and then he walked right over him. Aidan just kept telling the story the whole trip (and for a while after we got home), but I think he's since forgiven Pooh bear since that is still one of his favorites. He did come back and apologize (and also kissed him). What is it about Crystal Palace?
We have never had an experience like that. My now 8 year old had an intense fear of the characters when we went for the first time, when she had just turned 5. Her older sister absolutely loved the characters, so we saw them even though my younger daughter had such an intense fear of "head" characters. We worked out a system where my 5 year old would bury her head in my arm, and just peek out when her curiosity got the best of her.
This kept her from screaming in terror--which was her first reaction upon seeing even her favorite characters. When the characters saw her reaction, they were quite understanding, and while they did try attempt to draw her out--they kept their distance and were terrific with her! They followed her lead. Because they were so sensitive to her, she would talk, and talk about them after they left. Happily she was over her fear the next year we visited! Sorry to hear you had a rough experience.
Oh yes I have and reading your post reminds me of it and makes me mad all over again. We were at Liberty Tree having dinner. Pluto came to the table and kept pulling on my grandson. Well he got scared of him and when he tried to get away Pluto pushed GS and made him hit his head on the table. I was not a happy camper.

Did you speak to the manager or person in charge? That seems like totally unacceptable behavior to me.
A couple years back I went to get a pick with goofy and he nearly sqeezed me to death. I finally had to pull away and say goofy your to rough. I'm sorry that happened to you.
When DS was only 22 months old he was visiting Tigger in Mickey's toon town. DS was at the age where all he wanted to do was face the characters and check them out. Tigger basically spun DS around to face the camera and held him in that position until the picture was taken.
Yeah it was at Crystal Palace. OMG I looked on Youtube.com what the heck with the Pluto chasing the kid? Did that kid really kick Pluto?! But still chasing him like that!
Then I saw another Tigger encounter that seemed like Chloe's! Interesting!
