Finding Sweatshirts in the Parks

Can anybody tell me the best places to buy them? When we were there in October, all we ever found were the hooded kind, not the plain old sweatshirts. Will they be easier to find this time of year?

I see them everywhere, hooded, unhooded, in pretty much all the shops that sell clothing.
try the big stores like mouse gears in epcot, the emporium at MK, when entering DHS those shops on the left..and AK has that one big shop. sorry forget the name offhand.
even the resort shops should carry them.

You should find something at World of Disney in DTD.

I'm hoping they have more than hoodies now! Last January (2008), it was very difficult to find a regular sweatshirt - at least one that didn't break the bank!

I like the hoodie sweatshirts, so I'm not on the lookout for the crew neck kind. I have a favorite one I wear that I bought in the SSR store.

I too prefer the hoodie sweatshirt, so I've not really been looking for the regular crewneck, but I'm think we've seen them in most of the shops that carry clothing.

I thought most shops had the non-hooded variety as well.

Well, everything is kind of pricey at the World, but our resort shop definitely had non-hooded sweatshirts in December (AS Music). I have also seen them at the Emporium on Main Street in MK and Mouse Gear at Epcot. The World of Disney store in DTD also carries them.

I got mine at the big store at Downtown Disney (World of Disney) in September. I got a regular sweatshirt as well as a hooded one. When we were there, they had the hooded ones marked down from $60 to $25.

You can also try Disney Online for them. Often you can get amazing deals if you are careful and patient. Also, there are often coupons and discounts running if you do a good google search first.

We just returned and all the cold weather gear was at full price. When we were there in September I got several sweatshirts for 50% off.

DTD's World of Disney has the widest selection based on my experience and comments from several merchandise cast members. The Emporium in MK has the next widest selection followed by Mousegear at Epcot.

I've found some odd items in Sir Mickey's in Fantasyland that I did not see in the Emporium.

Each of the above had a bunch of both hooded and crew neck sweatshirts (and they were selling fast as last Thursday and Friday were some of the coldest on record 17 degrees in Tallahassee!)

Disneyshopping.com has had some great deals of late. And like Docrwm said ... coupons, discounts and free shipping can often be found by doing a Google search.

DTD's World of Disney has a huge selection of clothing items.

Good luck!
