WALL-E at WDW? I was thinking DHS but I searched www.charactercentral.net but didn't find anything. I have never seen pics or heard anyone saying anything about him in their Trip Reports so maybe he is not available. I was thinking maybe it would be something like the Lightning McQueen meet and greet there.
DD really wants to see Wall-E and I would like to break the news to her early if that won't be a possibility on our upcoming trip.
Thanks in advance!
Emily

They were *testing* the animatronic Wall-E in California, but I don't think he ever went out into the parks as one of the rotating characters. I remember the video showing their tests -- and thought it was going on backstage and not within the parks themselves.)
He's definitely not a character guests can meet at Disney World.
During my August 2008 trip with DD, there was a cardboard cut-out of Wall-E in the Animation Studio of DHS. I did take a few photos of DD with the cutout but that was it. It was later replaced by the character's from UP and more recently the Lotso from TS3.
Other than that, I have not seen/heard of Wall-E being a character that is available for meet/greets.
Thanks everyone. I was thinking that was the case, as I couldn't find anything online about it and certainly hadn't read anything here. I guess I will have to tell DD the bad news this afternoon!
I am sure she will get over it quickly. LOL

He (the cardboard version) has been replaced by Lotso bear. The electronic version never made it to WDW, he was having technical issues. Which is sad, b/c he's my step-son's favorite.
What doesn't make sense to me is that they can make a trash can walk and talk, and R2D2 cruises around and interacts with people during SWW, so why not Wall-e?
The Remy that was supposed to be at Les Chef De France we never saw either.

There's never been any sort of meet and greet for Wall-E.
It would've been awfully cool if he had, though... huh?! I think he might have been a very complex critter -- what with all the expressive eyes and stuff. I wonder if that's why things like Push the trashcan are out in the parks and controllable by a single CM, but Wall-E was too much.
