Yes, do it now so you don't forget to buy your PhotoPass CD before you have pictures taken. You could wait until the day your leave for your trip, but why not do it now and get it out of the way? I assume you are talking about the advance purchase of the PhotoPass CD, which saves you $50 over waiting to buy after the trip. If you are not interested in the CD, then you can just get a free PhotoPass card from the first photographer you see.

yep - buy it now. The expiration date has nothing to do with the purchase date, it's from the date of your first photo. So you could buy it months ahead...
Don't forget you can cancel it if you don't like the photopass photos (or if you don't end up getting many).
Buy before you go, it saves you at least 50 dollars! And make sure you either write down or take a picture of the back of the photopass card, that way if it gets lost you still have the number and the pictures that are on it .

Yes. The $50 savings is what we had in mind. The discount makes the purchase of the CD more reasonable, especially when it is hard to find the photographers. We also like the idea in another post of taking a picture of the back of the card in case it is lost.

I normally do it after I have paid off everything, but before I go. So around the time I start stuffing my Mousekeeping envelopes and such. It's one of those things you can do closer to departure day.
