I can't recall hearing anything yet, but I'm guessing (and this is purely a guess on my part) that they'd be looking to start some around Thanksgiving, as it's such a peak time of the year and that would give them time to work out any bugs before the official opening (the day we arrive! ) Keep your eyes peeled on the boards, because I guarantee as soon as anyone does hear anything, it'll be posted here.

That is when we will be there and logically thinking (always a scary proposition with me), two weeks out they would be working out the kinks with soft openings. I thought I read that they were testing with cast right now, but can't remember where I read that. At this point we will find out on 11/27 as that is the first of three planned visits to Epcot.
I just got back late last night. I can tell you that, in my opinion, Test Track doesn't look anywhere near ready. There was no soft openings during my trip (11/16-11/22) and there was a lot of construction going on outside. So, unless a lot of 24 hour days are in the imagineers future, I can't see it being ready.
Will be interesting to see. It is supposed to reopen on December 6th, and we will be there November 29th and December 2nd. I'd hope that by the 2nd they would at least be testing things out! LOL! Fingers crossed!

We were in Epcot this past Sunday (11/25) and we could hear the cars going around the outside part of the track so we were hoping there might be a soft opening but they were not letting anyone on the ride. Would have been neat to see the updates!
Oh my gosh! So excited! We'll be there next week, staying at BCV, so it will be convenient to run right over there the moment we arrive! Can you tell I'm excited!!??
