Part of my family will be going to a spring training game, I bought the tickets online and have printed them, will there also be a fee at the entrance? We are staying at Animal Kingdom Lodge and are not renting a car, would a taxi be the best idea for transportation there and back? If so, will a taxi hold 4 people and approximately how much would it cost?
I've always had luck finding a cab right outside AKL just near the entrance to the hotel. Just ask bell services and they can call a cab for you that can accommodate your party. I seem to always pay about $15-$20 wherever I go on property. I'd be surprised if it were much higher.
I think the ballpark entrances are before the ticketed area, but not 100% sure. It's been a few years since we've been there. DH thinks so, too.
If you have a rental car, that would be the easiest way to get there. It is one of the few places with no charge to park. A taxi would be my next choice. To get there by bus, you have to go to DHS then take a bus to world of sports. Hope it helps.
