Does anyone want to speculate if Pirate Week will run over Sept 19th, International talk like a pirate day? We will be in WDW that week for my son's 8th b'day on the 18th. I have booked him the Albatross Treasure Cruise for his actual b'day, and I have ordered Pirate Disney shirts for the family from ETSY. I am calling this our Pirate Adventure trip. I have bought pirate things to decorate our room at CBR, and I am bringing Duffy the Disney Bear in his pirate outfit. If that week was actually PIRATE WEEK, it would be SOOO COOOOL!!!
I'll be crossin' me fingers fer ya, but if it don't be workin' out, you'll still have a great trip, saavy?
I so agree! When I planned the trip and the piratey plans that followed, I didn't have ANY IDEA when "Talk Like a Pirate Day" even was!! My whole pirate theme sort of happened by accident-free dining allowed us to stay at CBR and my idea just went from there. If I got to see "Captain Jack" more, then not only is my son happy, but Mama is one happy camper too!!! Luv me some Johnny Depp or Depp-a-like!!
Chances are, yes, we will have a limited time magic, with Jack AND, his rival and possibly love interest.. -waiting for POTC V first to confirm as a meet n greet, also, of course we can always have characters dressed up in pirate outfits, like mickey in his halloween costume, hook,
goofy, etc all I can say is, keep a eye out!
