When we did the Osborne lights in 2002 we waited with the crowd before they opened the street and were in the first big group to go through. We were thinking that we'd wait and go toward the end, but we're wondering how late you can view the lights.

They should be open right up to park closing time. I know many people go view them after the last Fantasmic...

We watched the opening show in 2002, then sat back and watched the crowd mill through for a while. Once it thinned out, we walked through and weren't as crowded.....

Try during Fantasmic

It will definitely be a lot less crowded during Fantasmic but Disney will keep the Osborne Lights open until one full hour after park closing time so as long as Fantasmic is scheduled for an hour or so before park closing then it is possible to see Fantasmic and still see the Osborne Lights afterwards.

I agree - the quietest time to go would be during Fantasmic. We've done that a couple of times before.

We plan on seeing them on Christmas night after we see the 6:30 Fantasmic. Since there are 2 Fantasmic shows that night, we are hoping the later will attract enough folks to make OL less crowded.
