| Going to Disney in 6 days! What shouldn\'t I miss? Hey! Me and my family will be leaving for Disney on the 26th and will be there for New Years. While this is not our first time going, I was wondering if anyone had any tips or things that are espicially magical that we shouldn't miss! |

| Re: Going to Disney in 6 days! What shouldn\'t I miss? Anything holiday-related. This is the only time of year to see Disney all decked out for the holidays. Special Christmas parades, Candlelight Processional at Epcot, Christmas storytellers around the world at Epcot, the Osborne Lights at MGM, and all of the fabulous decorations at the parks and Disney resorts.
Personally, I would recommend not missing the Osborne Lights - they will take your breath away.
Have fun & Happy Holidays! |

| Re: Going to Disney in 6 days! What shouldn\'t I miss? Definitely Osbourne Lights. I have never seen anything like it. It really is spectacular! Going in December was really hectic but I am glad I did it (once) just so that I could see these lights. |

| Re: Going to Disney in 6 days! What shouldn\'t I miss? Do take advantage of getting a peek at the holiday decorations!!! We were there last Christmas and the decorations we were able to see were just outstanding!!!
Definitely catch Mickey's Philharmagic at MK!!! It was FANTASTIC!!! I could see it 10 times in one day and not get sick of it!!! Also, stay for SpectroMagic (the parade) and Wishes (the fireworks) . . . Wishes makes me cry!!!
At AK, don't miss "Festival of the Lion King" . . . we were blown away!!!
At Epcot, I have heard good things about Mission Space! (I am planning on trying it in March, but DH said it was great! Disorienting, but GREAT! ) Also, don't forget Test Track!!! ANd stay for IllumiNations!!!
At MGM . . . Fantasmic!!! |

| Re: Going to Disney in 6 days! What shouldn\'t I miss? I'd recommend doing Carousel of Progress, if it's open. I keep reading that it's not going to be around for much more than another year, and it would be a shame to never have seen it, if you had the chance. |

| Re: Going to Disney in 6 days! What shouldn\'t I miss? I just watched the Travel channel special last night and it had some great ideas. One of which being the real giant gingerbread house at the grand floridian. We missed it this year.... |

| Re: Going to Disney in 6 days! What shouldn\'t I miss? We loved the Universe of Energy!
Also, at Epcot--Test Track and all of world showcase
Magic Kingdom--Philharmagic and wishes
Animal Kingdom--All the shows were incredible, Kali River Rapids was fun and not too scary
MGM--Rock n Roller coaster, Tower of Terror, and we enjoyed the backlot ride and the Great Movie Ride.
Have fun! |
