| MVMCP crowd comparison? For those of you who have been to MVMCP, how do the crowds compare with, say, the middle of November or early December during regular hours? DH isn't much of a "crowd" person, so I wouldn't want to torture him if it's bad. |

| Re: MVMCP crowd comparison? we were at MVMCP on Nov. 30th and unless everyone was gathered around for the castle show or the parades it didn't seem crowded at all!!!! |

| Re: MVMCP crowd comparison? We went the same night, 11/30 there were long lines for the free photos and pictures with santa but the attractions themselves were pretty empty. |

| Re: MVMCP crowd comparison? We were there on Tuesday, 12/14 this year. Not a huge crowd. We were able to walk on most rides or had minimal waits. We waited until about 10:30 for our free photo and had no line there either. Just avoid weekends in the MK or at MVMCP, and you should be pleased.
Can't wait to go back again next year!!!! |

| Re: MVMCP crowd comparison? We were there Thursday, December 16. The crowds were big at the beginning of the evening but then got smaller after the fireworks. We saw the second parade in front of the castle, sitting on the curved benches. The crowd during the day on Tuesday and Wednesday--MK were great. On Tuesday walked on to any ride we wanted--even rode some twice without getting off. On Thursday we didn't go to a park until MVMCP time. Friday we were at Epcot and the crowds did not get big until around CP time. I loved, loved, loved, loved CP--in fact it was the highlight of our trip for me. |

Dawn, are you trying to talk DH into coming on your big trip?
[/ QUOTE ]
Welllll, I've been toying with the idea of DDs and I driving down for the cruise (DH would *never* do that!), then have DH fly in for 4 park days, then we would all drive back together via Asheville, NC to see Biltmore, and then to Willimasburg for a few days. It would be another long vacation, but not as much $$$ as our last one! I've got several months to work on him!
Thanks all for the info, I think it's definitely something I want to look into this year! |

| Re: MVMCP crowd comparison? we lucked out for the family photo.I think we did while the 1st parade was going on and we walked right up. Also, we were at the beginning of Main street for the 2nd parade and we were outta there fast after they passed us and had no crowds waiting to get back home...... |

| Re: MVMCP crowd comparison? That was a great strategy my little one was pooped he barely hung in for the 1st parade. Plus the night before we scared him to death with Illuminations, so we figured we had better get out before wishes began. |

| Re: MVMCP crowd comparison? We just went on Sunday Dec 12, and I'd have to say the crowds were a bit heavier for the party than the rest of the time we were there. I'd definitely go on a Tuesday or at least a Thursday next time! Still it wasn't bad, with no long waits for most attractions, and with the crowds thinning out after the first parade and Wishes. Also, remember that you can get into MK with just your MVMCP ticket by 4:30, giving you a couple extra hours to eat, or play! We made sure we went back to the hotel in the afternoon, rested while the kids napped, then went back to MK at 4:00. It's a very fun evening, and we'll do it again! |

| Re: MVMCP crowd comparison? Last year we went the Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday before Thanksgiving and waited in really long lines and had to use a lot of FP's. But this year we went to MVMCP on the 17th of Dec. (a sold out night) and walked on every ride we rode (and we rode some things mulitple times). And it was like that at every park we went to. Now we plan on going back for this every year! |

| Re: MVMCP crowd comparison? We went this year on the 16th and the 17th. I could tell the 17th was more crowded (sold out night), but it still wasn't that bad. It gets congested on Main St. and around the castle, but the rides were walk on for the most part. -Steph |

| Re: MVMCP crowd comparison? We went December 14, 2003 and we walked on to every ride...execept Dumbo which we had to wait 5 minutes for. We did wait about 15 minutes for our photo and didn't get our free hot cocoa because the lines were too long, but I LOVED it and thought that was definitely the way to experience the MK! |

| Re: MVMCP crowd comparison? We were there on Thurs the 10th and walked right on everything. We waited until 10:30 or so to get our pix taken and walked right up to that, too. This was my first time for MVMCP and I was so pleased. It was our "grand finale" and definitely worth every penny. Like others have said, it really thinned out after Wishes and we got a front row view of the parade, too. |
