Re: photopass

If this is the card they swipe when they take your photos and you can log into the internet and look at them later - yes.

Re: photopass

The very first Disney photographer that approaches and takes your picture you will give you a photopass that they swipe with your image. (I think you also get one/can request one from the check-in CM if you're staying on-site.)

After that, when you're approached by another Disney photographer, hand them your photopass -- or just take the one they swipe. (I came home with 5 of them and didn't find it difficult to use their website to group them all together for viewing. Plus I didn't have to worry about one loaded card being wiped/demagnetized or lost!)

When you get home, you go to http://www.disneyphotopass.go.com (it will redirect you to a secure site). Then you enter the number from the back of the photopass card(s) and you can order copies or you can email the URL to your friends and family so they can see what a great time you had.

I ordered some and thought they were fabulous and came well packaged and very quickly. The only think I missed was the frame-like folder you get when you buy them in the park, but the not-having-to-wait-in-line beat that by a long shot.

Oh, and you can't get ride photos on a photopass card -- or at least you couldn't this past November.

For more detailed info, go to https://disneyphotopass.go.com

Have a great time!

They should really add that!! b/c sometimes I stand there and debate on purchasing my ride photo, if it's worth the $ that I might could spend on something else...this way I could decide when I get home...what do y'all think?

Re: photopass

Is there any difference in price (between buying them in the parks or at home)?

And, yeah, they should really add the ride pictures. I didn't buy any on my last trip and then regretted it once I got home, so they would've been able to sell a couple to me at least.

Re: photopass

The prices are the same. ($12.95 is the cheapest -- for a 5x7) However, they were doing a $9.95 per picture introductory special at one time --- and in my Annual Passholder Mickey Monitor that I got yesterday, they sent a Passholder photopass card and it said that they are doing "half price" photos. Not sure if that is just for Passholders or what.

I do know that the prices are the same for the 5x7 and packages . . . I would be able to tell you more, but the PhotoPass website is down for rehab right now!!!
