| MVMCP Experts We are spending Christmas at WDW. According to another board, the possible dates for MVMCP could include two nights that we will be there. My question is: Should we pay the extra money to see MVMCP? We will be there the week before Christmas and I read somewhere that they have the Christmas party parade in the afternoon on the days closer to Christmas. What would we miss by not going to the party? Thanks! |

| Re: MVMCP Experts You'd miss a lot!!! We decided to buy MVMCP tickets rather than a single day ticket to MK and we were able to do everything we wanted at MVMCP. We were able to get into the park at 4:00. We hopped right onto The Haunted Mansion, then walked right on Mickey's Philharmagic, again walked right onto Stitch, Buzz, and Space Mountain...then rode everything again!! After that we were able to grab a bite to eat, have our complimentary photo taken, ride a few more rides, see the fireworks, and watch the second parade from a wonderful front row spot! We plan on going to MVMCP every year now! |

| Re: MVMCP Experts I can't wait! It's my first time too and I am so excited! From what I have been told, it's a DO NOT MISS event! Since they only sell a certain amount of tickets, you have the park practically to yourself and the atmosphere is supposed to be awesome. |

| Re: MVMCP Experts I would rank this as not to be missed - there so much going on:
- snow on Main Street
- the Christmas parade, which is more magical at night (I think )
- a special version of Wishes. I won't spoil it, but it's spectacular!
- free cookies and hot chocolate
- free photo of your group
- lots of shows all evening
- the opportunity to go on all the rides with only limited crowds
We love it and we'll definitely be doing it again this year. |

I was wondering where you read that. I was trying to track down possible dates before I book my trip. I had planned on the 17-23 but was going to bump it up a day b/c I was worried that the 16 (Friday) would be the last day of the party. That would make me have to find coverage for my class and miss that day of school. |

| Re: MVMCP Experts It definately is a not to be missed item. I would suggest trying to avoid going on the weekend. It is also popular with the "locals" (anyone who lives in Florida). We went during the week and I walked right onto Space Mt (I didn't even slow down to look at the sights) while my mom took my kids on the TTA and was able to ride 3 times w/o having to get off. I ended up waiting for them because I was doen sooner.

| Re: MVMCP Experts We went on our arrival day last year and felt that was a wonderful way to start our trip. We checked in to POR around 1, got ready, walked around the resort awhile, and then hopped a bus to MK and got in at 4. Then we were able to enjoy all of MK from 4 till around 11:30. It was wonderful with no crowds and lines! And all the party stuff is wonderful holiday fun! |

| Re: MVMCP Experts I think you've made a very wise decision to attend MVMCP - it's truly well worth the admission price for all the reasons that everyone else has already mentioned. As for which date to attend, I would choose Tues., Dec. 20, if that is an option, for two reasons. First off, I would avoid booking it for your arrival date just in case your arrival time at WDW gets delayed for any reason. Secondly, I've done MVMCP on a Tuesday on two separate occasions now and both times there were absolutely no lines for anything. Of course, if Dec. 20 is the very last night for MVMCP, that might increase the attendance a little.
