Re: Getting from EPCOT to the Polynesian

your best bet is to walk over to the TTC and take the Epcot monorail. Or if the monorail inside the poly goes to Epcot take that but I think it only goes to the MK
Good luck

Re: Getting from EPCOT to the Polynesian

From Epcot you have two choice to get to the Poly. You can take the resort bus directly which will drop you right off at the poly or you can take the monorail. If you opt to take the monorail then you would need to switch at the TTC to the resort monorail. You could also walk from the TTC to the poly.

Depending on the time of day and/or how crowded the parks are I would allow AT LEAST 30 minutes to make the trip.

Re: Getting from EPCOT to the Polynesian

From your post, I gather you want to go TO the Poly from Epcot.

The Epcot monorail runs continuously from Epcot to the TTC and back. You would take the monorail, and get off at the TTC. There is a monorail that runs from the TTC to the resorts. If you don't want to walk, you could take the resort monorail to the next stop, which is the Poly, where it lets you off on the 2nd floor of the Ceremonial House.

The shortest way, however, is to get off the monorail at the TTC, and then walk through the Polynesian resort grounds to the Ceremonial House (there are signs directing you to the proper path for the different buildings.)

I'm assuming you want to go to the Ceremonial House for the restaurants etc.

Have a great trip!

PS - When you leave Epcot, ask the CM if you can ride in the front car - the trip to/from Epcot is the longest trip, and it is really cool to see the grounds from the big window!!

Re: Getting from EPCOT to the Polynesian

allow at least 30 minutes if you take monorail to TTC then to Poly, walking from TTC can be quicker than waiting for the resort Monorail. if Poly monorail isn't right there when you get off Epcot monorail just walk.

Re: Getting from EPCOT to the Polynesian

When I stayed there last we would walk to the TTC and get the monorail there and it really didn't take that long. We also had 3 kids under the age of 5.

I would take the monorail to the TTC and then walk to the Poly - at most a 5 minute walk.

Re: Getting from EPCOT to the Polynesian

It does take about 30 mintues including the walk over. It seemed like it tool longer than 5 minutes though...and I know one night, we intentionally waited for the Resort monorail even though it took longer because it was sooo cooold out and our feet were tired. It's nice to have both options. The mono out of Epcot, day or night, is very relaxing.
