Re: expedition everest

Last I heard, it was more than likely early spring, with soft openings as soon as February. DH can't wait for this! I of course will be waiting for him at the exit!

Re: expedition everest

It may be closer than they originally thought.....they were running the attraction with and without sandbags a day or two ago. There is still a lot to complete inside the attraction, including the queue and the Yeti still needs to be put together.

Here are some pictures....

Re: expedition everest

Wow, Brad! They've done a lot in the past couple of weeks - the latest photos show that all the scaffolding is gone!! DH seems to think they are going to start TESTING it with people some time in December, but I don't know where he got that information!

Re: expedition everest

My dh is chomping at the bit for this ride which I actually find quite strange as he really does not do roller coasters. I guess the disney magic takes over his body too! lol I am a little aprensive to try it though

Re: expedition everest

What exactly is this ride going to do? Is it just a regular rollercoaster?

Re: expedition everest

the big thing about it is a switch track, not unlike revenge of the mummy at universal. so it'll go backwards as well as forwards.

and the yeti, which promises to be the largest audio animatronic figure ever created by wdi.
