Re: Animal Kingdom Stations It's a really cute idea. The kids get a card and get stamps at different "stations" throughout the park. They do different activities to earn their stamps. When the entire card is stamped you do get something, but it was raining the day we went and my DD didn't get all her stamps. She is 8 and while the activities are pretty juvenile she had fun doing them.

Animal Kingdom Stations Hi everyone!! I am now less than three months from my next Disney Vacation. My question is regarding Animal Kingdom. I read somewhere that they are doing something similar to EPCOT's Passporters with different stations. Am I just imagining I read this? If anyone has done this, what age is it appropriate for? My children are now 11, 7 and 6. Also, is the Triceratop Spin opening in December or did that get postponed? Thanks for any info!! Beth

Re: Animal Kingdom Stations The stations are marked on the guide map. My son got 3 out of 6 stamps. It makes a neat thing to bring back to show the teacher (it helps to justify taking them out of school if the teacher thinks they learned something) Triceratops Spin was open last week, we rode it twice with no waiting. It's very similar to Alladin's Magic Carpets, except a camel doesn't spit at you. You can see the construction going on at the new ride while you are high up in the air. It was fun, but wouldn't be worth a long wait. -Lisa

Re: Animal Kingdom Stations Hey, we might just try those stations! Thanks for telling us about them. Would be a nice addition to the journal DD will be keeping for her class. -HiddenMickey
