Monorail

Can anyone use the monorail? We are staying offsite. On the day we arrive we wont be going into any of the parks but are thinking of eating dinner at Chef Mickeys. We would like to ride the monorail around the circuit once. Can we?
Thanks

Re: Monorail

Dear Sweet,
Enjoy the monorail! But even though riding in the front is VERY cool, based on your other posts, I'm not so sure you would enjoy being up front. There is a sensation of being "up" without much underneath. If this doesn't seem appealing, just enjoy the monorail--in the regular cars, you do feel fully enclosed.

The front would definetly not be for me
Heck until you mentioned it, I forgot it was off the ground.
Shouldnt be a problem thou.
Thanks all. I knew I was right (hubby said only disney resort guests could ride the monorail). Love it when that happens

Re: Monorail

By the way, when are you going? I'll expect a full trip report and your review of the rides that we've all assured you will be fine

Re: Monorail

Technically, Disney transportation is only for Disney Resort guests and those with Park Hopper Passes. I've never seen anyone check ID's or Passes though.

Re: Monorail

The only place that they check your ticket to board either the Monorail or Ferry to MK was at the TTC. Just show them your ticket and you will be fine. Have a Magical time and we want to hear about your trip when you return.

Re: Monorail

They usually don't check IDs so don't worry to much about it. Also, taking the loop around EPCOT is also really neat, and worth it. I think you can take the Monoraol to the TTC, then to Epcot, I'm almost positive admission isn't required. Have fun!
