Pleasure Island

My MIL & her DH are coming to WDW with us in Ocotber & part of my birthday present is they have agreed to watch the kids while DH & I sample the night life at WDW...
Any suggestions on the best clubs to go to at Pleasure Island... Should I not miss the Kungaloosh at Adventure club?? I've read so much about this drink I feel I *MUST* try it
When is the best time to hit the clubs or could we club hop in one night?

Re: Pleasure Island

I will add votes for the Comedy Warehouse (go to the first or second show) and then spend the remainder of your time at the Adventurers Club. This is also the place we spend 95% of our time. I love the kungalooshes. You might also want to sit at the bar (it is small) and ask the bartender to "take care" of your partner's stool (do so discretely). Then just sit back and relax. Enjoy!

Re: Pleasure Island

I wouldn't miss the adventurers club for the world...You can Hop all the clubs in one night...a couple pieces of advice though... Don't Buy anything that yer gonna have to carry all over the place...make sure that you don't Kill yourself all day in the parks the day you go... you'll end up falling asleep in the middle of 8traxs...Enjoy it!

you can club hop cause you will get a feel for each club immediatly...motions, 8traxs, maniquins, rock and roll beach club, etc.. they all depend on your tastes... You may choose to Skip the Tecno dance parties and head to the comedy club or the Jazz bar... it's all about what you like!!!

Personally .. 'd spend my time in AC... i love to laugh and these "club Members" never cease to make my face hurt by the time I leave (and may I suggest the Drink Jungle juice if the kungalosh dosn't quite sound like something you want)

Re: Pleasure Island

You can easily visit all the clubs in one night, and catch the live music on the West Side Stage. How much time you spend at each club depends on your interests.

If you're into dancing you'll probably settle on the one or two clubs that offer the music and dance styles you prefer. It only takes a few minutes to check out each dance club to see if it's to your taste. If you're not into dancing but want to see what they're like, you can visit them all in little more than an hour.

If dancing is not your thing, that leaves three clubs - Pleasure Island Jazz Club (live jazz or blues), Comedy Warehouse (half-hour improv comedy shows), and Adventurers Club. As most folks know by now, Jennifer and I spend 95% of our Pleasure Island time at the Adventurers Club, interacting with our fellow adventurers and enjoying the continuous live goings-on. While the Kugaloosh has become somewhat legendary around here, it's really not the drinks that makes the Adventurers Club special. Come downstairs, have a seat in the main salon, and give the club some time to work its magic.

Many folks we know attend one of the shows at Comedy Warehouse and spend the rest of the evening at the Adventurers Club.

Re: Pleasure Island

I agree - we usually try to get to one of the first shows at the Comedy Warehouse and then head over to the Adventurer's Club. We're not big fans of country music or jazz, and we don't dance much so these two clubs keep us happy!

Re: Pleasure Island

The wdwig AC faq has a few hints at the very bottom.

Plus a few pictures here

AC and the Comedy Warehouse are the only two non-smoking clubs at Pleasure Island.
