Another Stroller Question? We will be traveling to WDW in November. DS age 1 1/2 and DS 4 in September. The double stroller I have is to small for them, they are both big boys. I'm considering buying a different double stroller just for the trip. We are staying at CBR. Any suggestions? Would it be worth it?? We taking the bus be a problem with the stroller in tow?

Re: Another Stroller Question? When we went two years ago we had a large stroller. Yes it was cumbersome but I thought it was worth it. The disney strollers are not padded and can get uncomfortable. Also the disney strollers do not have a sun visor which we found necessary in Florida. Hope this helps. Dawn

Re: Another Stroller Question? We took our front/back double stroller and it was a huge blessing. I had a two yr old and a 5 yr old and we used the front seat most of the time with one child or the other and used the back for storage...packages, backpacks, etc.... I don't know that we would have survived as well without it. The Disney ones are hard plastic....and there are always 3000 that look alike. I don't know about taking the bus with it extended and packed full but I'm sure that you can transport it folded up. My vote is to take a double stroller with you.

Re: Another Stroller Question? The one thing I would look for in a stroller, whether it was double or not, is how easy it is to fold up. The one handed kind are the best. When we went in June we made the huge mistake of bring a very light one but it needed two hands to fold up. This was a hassle getting in and out of the busses. We always held up the line, espescially when the baby was sleeping. The other thing, invest in a rain cover for it. Even if you never use it. We had to improvise in June and the stroller was always wet. Good Luck. i hope you learn from my mistakes.

Re: Another Stroller Question? The side by side strollers take up a lot of horizontal space as you traverse the crowds too. We found a nice front/back stroller worked well for us. It's also handy in the real world for trips to the mall and that great wildlife prairie park you have there in Peoria!

Re: Another Stroller Question? We went in June with our 2 1/2 year old and a 5 year old and we could not have gotten by without a stroller. My recommendations would be (based on our experience): 1) A double that is front to back vs side by side 2) Some sort of cover -- we used a $1 poncho we found on the outside. It worked great to keep the stroller dry and to keep any items we had dry 3) Find a stroller where both seats recline 4) Another nice feature, particularly if you have bigger kids, is to find a stroller where the front bar comes off. This made it easier to get in and out and gave my older one more room. Hope that helps.

Re: Another Stroller Question? Although our 6 year old "grew out" of a stroller a couple years ago, we are going to get a light weight umbrella tpye for our trip. She already has expressed her desire to ride in it again. Has anyone had or heard of any problems with strollers coming up missing when you exit from a ride or items "taken" from the strollers? Not like we were going to store money or cameras in it while we were inside somewhere...
