Good Morning...2 park questions........

Okay, first one....Is Epcot still doing Leave-a-Legacy. I thought I read somewhere awhile back where they were not going to continue it. I hope I misunderstood something, because I really want my kids to be able to it when we go. Mark and I did it the last time we were there.

Question 2.....We are also planning to go to the waterparks this time. So, what do you do with your stuff while you are there? Are there lockers? Do you need your resort card while you are enjoying the rides? What have you all done when you go?

Yeah, I know. That was way more than two questions

Thanks,
Tricia

Re: Good Morning...2 park questions........

1) As far as I know, they're still doing it. I know they are still on display.

2) They do have lockers at the waterparks. You only need your resort keys if you are charing stuff to your room and want to buy soemthing. I have one of those waterproof cases on a string and wear mine around my neck.

I've only gotten a locker once. We have always driven to the waterparks, so we left our stuff in the car except for water bottles and towels (we just left that stuff at our chairs while on the slides). The one time we rented a locker was because we were going somewhere else right afterwards and we needed to change clothes. If you get there early, the line for the lockers is nuts, so if you can skip it, I would.

Re: Good Morning...2 park questions........

1) Yep, EPCOT is still doing the Leave A Legacy tiles. You can ask at guest services to the right of the turnstiles after entering the park.

2) There are lockers available at the water parks, and there are also plenty of chairs around. I wouldn't recommend leaving valuables unattended at the chair, but I felt very comfortable leaving towels, footwear and a beach bag unattended. You don't need your resort key at the water parks to enjoy the slides, only if you are going to use the room-charging priveleges (if you set it up) to pay for snacks and merchandise.

Re: Good Morning...2 park questions........

1. Yes they were still doing it in '04, our last visit

2. Yes there are lockers at both water parks. We don't take anyhthing with us except towels and our keys( for charging to the room ), and a disposalable waterproof camera. You can buy them at the park, but we get ours at Meijer to save money. We feel safe leaving our shoes towels and camera in our chairs. Get ther early to get a good spot.
