My DH has been chosen for this one twice! We all just screamed and yelled and jumped up and down and pointed at him when they were looking for volunteers. It was so much fun to see him up there and when he was asked to make a sinister laugh in the microphone he made an awesome one. Even shocked the master of ceremonies, but I guess they are ready for anything.

Cool. There is a trip report out (Leah's Dad) and he and his new bride were both picked. Fun. I was once picked to stand up on a stage at a small demonstration for something (sorry, it was like 7 years ago) at Innoventions at Epcot. I had been chewing on ice I had brought with me from the resort in my refillable mug. So - chomping ice from DxL to Epcot on the bus, another 15 mins or so in Epcot... he asked for volunteers, I raised my hand and he picked me. Only when he asked me my name, it came out "Menanie". My tongue was frozen from the ice. How embarassing. [img]images/icons/rolleyes.gif[/img]

DH wanted to put his hand up when they asked for honeymooners and we were there on our honeymoon. But being a shy, reserved Brit (I've changed a bit since then! [img]images/icons/tongue.gif[/img] ) I kept his hand down - I bitterly regret that now... [img]graemlins/pout.gif[/img]

Not for this since I have not seen it yet, but I was picked at Universal Hollywood for this show where they demontrated how special effects worked w/ various Hitchcock movies. They made it look like I was hanging off the torch on the Statue of Liberty. I let go and it looked like I was falling. I had to scream and wave my arms and legs, and they showed it up on this big screen. It was kinda neat; I felt a little riduclous (my best friend actually "volunteered" me for it), but now I wish I'd have gotten into the spirit of it a little more. That was back in '95 when I was 30; guess I thought I was "too cool" for that kinda stuff - LOL! [img]images/icons/rolleyes.gif[/img]

I was picked out of the audience for this show once and it was a lot of fun to participate. They really like to cut up with you but you should be very outgoing. It's a fun memory to have.

My friend was chosen once -- she almost ruined the "not paying attention" joke. (She wasn't paying attention either!)
I was chosen in Universal for an Earthqake thing -- it was really cool!

DH was chosen when we were honeymooning there in '95. He let out a big "Goofy" laugh --- which got the whole audience laughing! It was a lot of fun to see him up there. He also had a great time being involved.
