Park hours and park transportation questions

We are going to Disney World from December 19-24th and I am curious as to what the hours might be like in December at this time. I know the hours aren't out yet, but I knew someone out there would know the answer. . .

Also, what is the transportation between the different parks? Is there any or do we have to go back to the resort to catch another bus?

Any answers are very much appreciated!!

Re: Park hours and park transportation questions

When we were there at X-mas in 2001 MK was open until 11:00PM about every night (maybe even midnight one night?) and WS/EPCOT was open until at least 9:00P.

Re: Park hours and park transportation questions

There are buses that will run directly between most parks so you won't have to go back to your resort.

Keep in mind that all park-to-park buses for the Magic Kingdom will only go to the Transportation and Ticket Center. From there you need to hop the ferryboat or monorail to the park.

There is no bus between MK and Epcot. You take the monorail to go between them. Otherwise there is bus service roughly every 15-20 minutes between:

AK-MK(TTC)
AK-Epcot
AK-MGM

Epcot - AK
Epcot - MGM (there's also a boat from the International Gateway entrance)

MK(TTC) - AK
MK(TTC) - MGM

MGM - AK
MGM - Epcot (also boat - see above)
MGM - MK(TTC)

Re: Park hours and park transportation questions

I've been using this website for transportation methods between the resorts/parks/etc. Found it quite helpful as it gives you several methods of transportation as well as the time required to go from one place to another...
