FastPass

Has the way FP works or the time frame for getting your next FP changed? It seems like I've read something hear about it being 1 hour, but I thought it was 2 hours before getting another FP.

Thanks!

Re: FastPass

The FastPass system hass gotten some rehabs recently, it's becoming more advanced as far as the machines knowing what the demand for FastPasses are and what rides have them available. It's still two-hours I've been told, but there have been on occasion one-hour block-out periods apparantly, but I'd assume just on slow days. Check the FP when you get it, it will say right on it the time you may get your next FP.

Re: FastPass

We just returned from our trip last week. The crowds were so light there really wasn't a need for FastPass most of the time. So the only time we used it we got the FastPass at 1:00 and it said to return between 2:10 and 3:10. Then there was a little note on there that said something to the effect of "next fastpass cannot be issued until 2:15". So after 1 hr and 5 minutes we could have gotten another one if we needed it.

Re: FastPass

FYI RE: Fast pass-Did you know that you can't get
a fast pass if your not in the park. I
went to get fastpasses @ Test Track for my family
while they were getting ready for dinner @ the hotel
and because I was the only one who used my ticket @ the gate the machine wouldn't give me passes for their tickets.
Did ya get that?

Re: FastPass

Wierd. It's kind of spooky how much those computers keep tabs on you. Another interesting thing you might run into with FP is a cast member standing at the FP machines, with a few FP's in their hand. We got 4 for a Millionaire show at MGM that admitted FP holders 3 minutes after we got in line. The really cool thing is that we were already holding FP's for RNRC and wouldn't have been able to get any when the CM just handed them to us. It REALLY helped our schedule.

Re: FastPass

Thanks for the heads up, Kelly. I never would have thought that of that, and that is something I can see myself doing for my family in the future. Now I know not to.
