Hope it's not true, but I suspect it is... It's been a while since it's been closed for refurbishment.

Rockin Rollercoaster i believe was closed earlier this year around January if i remember right. From what i had heard from people who were down there a week or so ago is that they had to close it for a day or so due to some techincal issues. They brought a specialist in and got it running but if that did happen then the rumor of it going down for rehab doesn't surprise me.

I hope not as i love this ride but if they feel they need to do so they are just giving me a reason to go back again!

Again i wasn't there but thats what i had heard.

Yeah, we had a similar reaction when we found out that Haunted Mansion was going to be closed when we visted earlier this month.

Bad news indeed!! DH was pretty upset about Haunted Mansion, though we'll get to ride it on our last day (sept 14th).
All the family is sad about Spaceship.. since it's one of our kids' favorites and have to say that now mine too...
And now this!! It's outrageous! Someone stop Disney rehabing in September!!!
I wanted to try Tusker and now I can't

From what I heard they are going to be changing the colors of the cars as well as the License plates of the cars. This all due to the fascinations a number of guests has had with the car the poor little boy died in. Seems a lot of guests are requesting for or waiting to ride the exact car he died in

If this is the case, I can see why they are doing this.

It was closed earlier this year, to redo the fast pass and single rider entrances. January is probably correct. We were there in December and it wasn't changed. Went back in April and the entrances were different.

And - that deal about wanting to ride in that car is just weird! I had forgotten about the death of that boy. People are just sick nowawdays.

When we were there just a few weeks ago, RNRC went down a few times for quite a while. Sounds like it needs a rehab if their calling in experts to patch it up.

I certainly hope people aren't reserving the car the little boy died in. That is just plain ridiculous!

Well the last one not so great, for me at least He has found a schedule for rehabs in MGM. Not sure where he got it from but he says Rock N Roller coaster is going to be shut down for major rehab from Labor day till the beginning of October. This is not ok, I am going Sept 28th thru Oct 7. They can not shut down both SE and RnRCoaster on me

I checked the Disney site and so far it is not listed. I hope he is wrong, or found wrong info I should say. But he is usually right on with this type of info
Noooooooo!!!!!! Say it isn't so, this is my favorite ride in MGM, ! iam so bummed right now.
