|  Distance around World Showcase Lagoon? Does anyone know the distance around World Showcase Lagoon? A friend of ours challenged me to find out. I tried looking it up but I have gotten various answers from 1.2 miles to 2 miles. The passporter Epcot map says it should take me 29 min. to walk around it, but I can't rememeber what speed that is assuming I am walking. Thanks for the help!

My timed walk that day was 21 minutes. It depends on how crowded it is too. If there are a lot of guests, you aren't going to easily get a 3mph pace in. If it's empty, then you can go faster.  (I have walked WS for exercise many, many, many times - hundreds? - as I have the Boardwalk, Fort Wilderness, etc. - some of my favorite places on Dis property!) 29 minutes would be a very slow pace.

There are a lot of "20 minute walks" around property, it's amazing how many places you can find that are about a mile. From Epcot to MGM, the WS lagoon walkaround, the FW parking lot to the Settlement, and the Settlement to the WL...all in the 1 mile range. WS seems shorter than Epcot to MGM, but they are very similar. That is more than you wanted to know!
