Talking Which Tour would you take?

Hello Everyone!

DH and I are going on vacation November 24 for 4 days (first stay at AKL) and have been talking about the various special tours around Disney World. Any suggestions as to which one to take (IF we can still get reservations! ). Thanks!

Here's another vote for the Keys of the Kingdom tour. We had an even greater appreciation for the MK after we went on it.

The only tour I've done (apart from the Family Magic Tour) was the Wild by Design Tour at AK. I thought it was superb.

Don't have much advice on tours as I've only done the Family Magic Tour and the Christmas Tour, but I wanted to wish you a warm welcome to Passporter! (I have heard FABULOUS things about the Keys to the Kingdom tour, however.)

I did a fabulous tour in April but it's not offered anymore (Hidden Treasures of World Showcase). I would love to do the Segway tour in Epcot.

I did the Keys to the Kingdom and LOVED IT! Our guide Robin was the best and really knew how to tell the story of Walt and the Co. I'm a huge fan of 'behind the scene' things, so I was in heaven on this tour!!!

If you don't want to *know* the stuff behind the magic, don't take the tour; if you're like me, you'll LOVE it!!

I seem to remember seeing an early morning safari tour only available to AKL resort guests. You get to go through Kilimanjaro Safaris early when more animals are up since it's not so hot, and the tours are supposed to be much slower and informative since there's not the time crunch of keeping all those safari trucks moving through at a decent pace.

Welcome to the Boards. My favorite tour is Sunrise Safari at AK, but you have to be staying AKL Concierge to be able to get that. Otherwise, The Keys to the KingdoM Tour would be my next recommendation

I've not done any of them, but I think the Family Magic Tour sounds fun.
I hope this link works - it tells you all the tours, cost, location, etc.

I highly recommend the Keys to the Kingdom tour. The only regret I had was not going on the tour sooner! Absolutely spectacular!!

Hi and welcome to the boards!

We've done lots of the backstage tours and have enjoyed each and every one of them. I don't know if it'll be on when you're there, but the Yuletide Fantasy tour is well worth doing, if it's available during your stay. You learn all about holiday traditions and how Disney celebrates Christmas - it's a great tour and is only on during the run-up to Christmas. If it's on, I can thoroughly recommend that.

Other great choices include Keys to the Kingdom at the Magic Kingdom and Around the World on a Segway at Epcot.
