Well, if I was ever even considering a rental, I'm definitely not now!!!!!! The double I'm buying is $180 but when you compare that to $27 a day x 10 days... yikes!

WOW! That's a HUGE increase! Kevin and Lori rented a single for the length of stay last week and it was $8 a day. Glad the increase didn't happen while we were there....Kevin woulda flipped!

I was just going to post a topic about this. Our vacation starts on April 25th, and I have been on the phone with Disney all morning! With a ticket price increase I can purchase tickets before, but I am unable to reserve a stroller at the current price! I am so heart sick over this. I know I can purchase a stroller- but I was looking at renting a double stoller so my 6 year old could rest too- and there really isn't a stroller designed for a 6 year old. It just seems like one more thing that costs so much extra $$. I really am considering rescheduling our trip. Things are just so tight right now- I really don't want to be fretting over every dollar we spend! Usually I'm ok with price increases- but this one really seems just so unfair and excessive.

I wonder what the storllers they have to purchase look like? We're still probably going to rent one... I think it would be easier than hauling one around with you all the time.

Wow, that's expensive! How much did they used to cost? We rented one in Sept. but I can't really remember what we paid per day.

Well that settles it, Im heading back to the consignment shop today to get that double stroller!! It was only 60.00 and has a big storage rack under it, I really didnt want to lug it on the buses, but I can suck it up for the prices of renting one in the parks now. Thats just ridiculous price increase, and you know they will have the same ole hard plastic ones with no shade.
Bad form, WDW!!!!!

AT ages 4 and 6, my kiddos will get tired, so we will have to watch out for the nasty monsters to arise so we can head back to the resort for a nap!

Too bad... we would have gotten a lot more mileage out of the kids if we rented strollers. But we'll manage!

Yikes! More than it costs to rent a car for a week??? For a STROLLER?!!

BAD MICKEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Here is a pic ( sorry not the greatest quality) of the one we bought at the rental Kiosk in EPCOT in 2006 ( 49.99) it worked great. We used it on the monorail and some of the buses. Had cup holder, storage basket, gave us a name card like the others. my DD was 4 1/2 at the time. We ended up giving it away our last day so we did not have to transport it home.
