| "Kiddie" rides for adults I was watching a video from you tube on the Winnie the Pooh ride. It looks so adorable. This trip it will be me and my DH going alone. Is Winnie the Pooh, Snow White's Scary Adventure too cheesy for an almost 40 yr old and an almost 44 year old to ride? I think I can talk him into Winnie, but I doubt Snow White. I already told him we are going on IASM and Peter Pan. Those are two must-do's from my childhood I want to relive!! I'm not sure I can talk him into the other two. Also, how is Mickey's Philharmagic? Is that entertaining for adults as well? |

| I highly doubt anyone in line is going to notice 2 adults getting on a ride without kids. For all they know, the kids in line around you might be yours but just riding in a different seat. And the CM won't say anything. Go and enjoy. Who cares if it seems like a kiddie ride. Most people when they're in Disney are just really tall kiddies And Mickey's Philharmagic was really good IMO. If you like Disney movies and Disney music, then you'll enjoy this (Little Mermaid, B&B and Lion King are in it that I remember). It's in 3D, and it's certainly something worth doing - with or without kids.

| I have never even looked around to wonder why adults are riding w/out kids. In Disney, it is all about how old you feel or think you are that counts and I personally feel like I am 6 anytime I cross under that big gorgeous Welcome sign. Go and enjoy ALL the rides. |

| Pooh is just a fun ride and not at all cheesy for adults. We've only done Snow White once b/c I think it's a bit too creepy/scary. Mickey's Philharmagic is a WOW for kids and adults alike (I actually think adults like it MORE than the kids!) It's hands down, hubby's favorite thing at MK.

| For me, Philharmagic is a must-do everytime I'm there. It's the kind of attraction that has something for all ages. Snow White almost always has a very short line, so you can play that one by ear. Regardless, it's not really "kiddie" stuff either. It can be a bit scary for little ones. If he enjoys the movie, then the ride is worth doing. If he considers the movie beneath him, then don't bother. I suspect the notion here is that "grownup" rides have thrills, and "kiddie" rides don't. It doesn't really work that way at Disney parks. The rides and attractions are supposed to tell a story, the storytellers usually have a way to reach people of all ages. The same goes for the production values/investment Disney puts into its rides and attractions. Unlike a lot of amusement operators, it doesn't cheap-out because they assume little kids won't know any better. They assume adults will be experiencing every attraction, too. It goes back to Walt's original premise - a place where families can do things together. Walt wanted to have as much fun as his kids were having.

| DH and I have no children and we ride the kiddie rides everytime we are at Disney. And, believe it or not, I always notice something that I never noticed before each time I ride the kiddie rides. On my last trip (in December) I rode Dumbo for the first time! I have probably been to Disney 20 or more times but never rode Dumbo because the lines were always too long. It was a great ride. Have fun and enjoy all the rides.

| Cheesy? Not unless I'm made of Muenster, Swiss and Cheddar! I love all these rides and haven't even considered looking cheesy. I just go on with a big grin and enjoy myself. Eileen
