Pay additional chargefor Fantasmic?

HELP!! I just got off the phone with ADR's for Fantasmic dining package. I have the reservation, but I wanted to try for later. To make a long story short, the CM told me that if you don't have the dining package you have to pay an additional fee to see Fanatasmic. Is this true? I thought Fantasmic was included with your admission ticket, like Illuminations and Wishes. Can someone please clear this up for me!!!!

WHOA! That's a pretty big mistake on the part of the CM. No, Fantasmic is not an extra fee, you just have to wait in a longer line to get in without the dining package. I hope you got the CMs name and can call back to speak to a supervisor....that needs to be corrected.

Fantasmic is free, just like the other fireworks shows. It is limited in the number that can be seated but you can always stand in line to get a seat or choose the dinner package and receive a ticket that allows you to enter the back way.

That's what I thought, but the CM was so adamant about it, I thought I better double check. Thank you all for clearing it up!!

That's news to me. I've never heard of a fee for Fantasmic. I could be wrong, but I thought there was a cancellation fee for the dining package, maybe this is what the CM meant? If I'm wrong on the fee, someone will correct me.

Fantasmic is included with admission. If you book the Fantasmic Dinner you must leave a credit card number for a deposit, and there is a fee if you don not cancel in time. I think 24 hrs.

The CM was definitely saying there is a charge for Fantasmic outside of the admission fee. I wanted to change our dining time because it's so early in the day. So I asked if we changed from the dinner package to just a dining reservation what time could we eat dinner. I also said that I knew if we canceled the dining package that we would have to wait in a long line for Fantasmic. Then she said, "Well you know there is a separate charge for Fantasmic right?" And I said no, I thought it was included in the admission price. She said, "No, it's a completely separate ticket fee. That's why so many people go with the dinner package. Because it's just the one price." I told her I didn't know that and to just leave the dinner package alone for now. I think I'm going to call back and double check with someone else!! There go my cellphone minutes again!!

Ok. I called back and spoke to a supervisor. I told her the whole conversation, and luckily I remembered the lady's name. The supervisor apologized profusely and said there has never been a separate charge for Fantasmic so she has no idea where the CM came up with that one. So problem solved. No charge for Fantasmic, but I still have to eat dinner at 4:30! HAHA!

I'm glad you got it sorted out. Dinner at 430 is not such a bad thing...we did dinner at 5pm once and didn't make it to the early seating line in time, so got stuck with crummy seats. Have a great time!

Fantasmic is completely free, well, included in your DHS park admission ticket. The number of people is restricted but it is free to get in.
