Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party

Is this worth the extra admission?

i have only heard good things about MVMCP, but unfortunatley have never experienced it. my family is going at christmas, but it ends two days before we get there, which i wish wasnt the case. i was disappointed since this might be our only chance to go christmas week. in my opinion, it would be worth it

We went for the first time this past December and had an absolute blast! I'd say it was well worth the extra admission to see the parade, the special shows and the fireworks literally took my breath away.

Add to that all the hot chocolate and cookies you can drink + Santa= A must do!

We love it! Have gone twice, and am trying to figure out if we can accompany on his business trip to Fla this year just so we can go again.

ABSOLUTELY!!! We love it. It is one of our annual things to do during our Thanksgiving trips. Lots of great shows, parades, fireworks that are special for that night...much shorter lines....snow on Main Street, Santa and so much more. We would not miss it.

Definitely yes - it's the only chance you'll get to see the Christmas parade, as they don't start running it in the afternoon until after the last Party has been held. The holiday Wishes are also amazing and well worth seeing. We feel those things are worth the price of admission alone, but of course, you have five hours to enjoy the park and all its rides - and we've been before on sold out nights and not found it that busy. I say go for it.

We have been to the Christmas party and the Halloween party, and loved both of them. We are a bit disappointed that there won't be a special event party during our trip this August.

I'm in the minority, but we're NOT buying tickets for the party this coming Dec. We did the party last year and didn't find that it was worth what will be $225 to do it again. My boys (5 and 4) were not interested in the parade, and they won't sit for shows in MK. They want to be up and about. We did get to ride the rides several times over. There were characters dressed in winter/holiday clothes for picture-taking. And the decor is absolutely gorgeous, but you can see the SAME decor on a non-party night. The fireworks were nice, but honestly all the Disney fireworks are terrific and we didn't see $225 worth of difference. It was a battle to rearrange my boys' schedule so they would be awake and not cranky for the late party hours, as well. We much preferred the World Showcase in EP, the Candlelight Processional, and OH MY GOODNESS the Osborne Family Lights!!!!

How does the christmas party compare to the pirate and princess party? We went to the P&PP last March and it was fun...but it poured rain which kind of made it not so fun...I think the Christmas party sounds fun with the snow and everything..but I am just not sure.

I would say it's definitely worth the admission if you've never done it before.

I'm a fan of the party. I particularly liked the nearly empty park around 10PM. We rdoe Big Thunder 3 times without getting off. Here's an article I wrote on it
