Standing in the Way

So we spent the day at TMK today and had a GREAT time. The one problem is the unbelievable number of people who stop in the middle of the street/doorways/turnstyles to open up maps/back packs/what not and cause major traffic problems.

Please, for the love of Mickey, when you get to WDW, pull over to the side when you need to stop!

Okay, the rant is over. the good news is that TMK is as magical as ever and we're having a great time! I'll file a trip report wehn we get home, but I can't help posting a few things since we have a computer here in our room. For those who haven't eaten at the Wave, Kona or Liberty Tree Tavern, I recommend them all.

I can't tell you how many people I've run into with the stroller because they stop suddenly right in front of me. I had one lady freak out on me because I ran into her ankles. She was swearing up a storm and my oldest dd looked at her and said "we don't talk like that in our house", which really made her mad.

That is priceless - and good for your daughter for pointing out that not everyone talks like that.

OK. I confess, I've stopped in the middle of a walkway before....BUT, I realized I'd done it shortly after and moved over to make room for people to get by.

joking and people from N.Y. usually have this reputation , but it annoyes me when a family stops traffic in the parks , and when they stop suddenly and you bump into them they say it is your fault.

So, am I to assume that if this is a problem (and I agree that people stopping "out of the blue" can certainly be classified as a problem!!) the parks are pretty crowded?

It's annoying and it doesn't just happen at WDW - for example supermarkets with the added bonus of the trolleys to block aisles
