| Last year we skipped "Oh Canada". A friend just told us it is a great ride. We thought it was a movie, and our little guy was not up for sitting in a dark room. What exactly is Oh Canada? Is it a ride, a movie...or both? Also how is it for a 2 1/2 year old? Last year we took him on Maelstrom, because the cast members said it was ok, it was a "family ride" - yikes! When that troll rose up out of the water...he freaked out! Is there anything scary about it? Thanks!

| It's a Circlevision movie. Meaning you stand and screens around the room are filled with images. Sometimes you might feel as if you are moving, but you are not. We haven't seen the new edition of this, but always enjoyed the previous one.

| It's a movie and the new version is a huge improvement on the old one - we really enjoyed the new one. ![]()

We skip the movies in Epcot just because of our 3 year old...he's a little go getter and won't sit still that long!

| They have improved the movie, or added a ride.? If they've changed the movie, I hope they added a few more pictures that include the usual sites and attractions NOT hidden beneath 3 months of snow on an especially snowy winter. I don't recall seeing the rocky mountains highlighted last time I was there, but it has been awhile. I'd hate to think that visiters to this pavillion would think that everyone who lives in Canada is all huddled around Hudson's Bay trying to keep warm, eating whale blubber and softening up seal skins to make our next jacket. But I digress. Oopps, gotta go, my polar bear needs her walk...(.LOL). Seriously though, I do look forward to taking in all the pavillions, especially "O Canada" Happy Canadian, Allaina

| I'd say that they made a "retelling" of the movie -- it's been re-edited with some of the more dated images getting cut and added Martin Short as a very funny host to the experience. It went from an attraction that was something I did once every few years to something I'd enjoy every trip. Eileen

| I adored the original and would watch it twice on each vacation. The movie even inspired us to skip Disney one year and go to Quebec. *sigh* I so want to go back. Back to topic, the new movie is decent and would appeal to a younger kid as long as they can stand/lean for the length of the show. If they're the squirmy, easily bored then I'd pass for a little one. Oh, and scary? No. PM me I can hook you up with seeing the video on your computer.

| I liked it. The new one started fall 2007. You stand to watch a movie (5 -7 min) and since the screen is so large you feel you're moving. I could even see my house (almost) we're just behind the Casino....which they show when you "fly" past Niagara Falls. |

| The new movie is a huge improvement on the old one, however as usual you hop right over the beautiful prairies with hardly a mention other than Calgary and a couple of "backwoods small towns" (A quote from the movie that rubbed me the wrong way! And they are actually cities!!) near where I grew up. Guess that makes me "backwoods". However, even with my slight criticism I would recommend people go see it! Just make sure you can stand still for about 10 minutes because there are no seats in the theatre and that you can handle IMAX type movies without getting motion sickness.
