| Toddler potty tips for while at parks? My daughter is almost potty trained and I'm looking for tips from you seasoned WDW travelers. Are there any restrooms in the parks with toddler sized potties or smaller seats etc? I don't have a portable potty that I could cart around in her stroller! Also I don't really want to go backwards and have her wear pull-ups. I can always help her with a regular toilet but I wondered if there might be some other options Any suggestions? Thanks!

| Let her practice without the small potty. My DD did just fine at 3 yrs old on a big potty and after WDW we got rid of the small potty. But no, there are not any smaller potty's. The big bonus is the handicapped sinks are lower to the ground and kids can reach those! By the way, ask often and don't take "no I don't have to go" for an answer. DD always seemed to "have to go potty" when were about to enter the ride car!

| Oh, and drap a piece of paper over the automatic sensor. It will probably go off and startle her.

| Easiest way to deal with the automatic sensors is to carry some small post it notes with you and place one over the sensor when you use the bathroom. I've taken to doing this even though I'm an adult and don't have any kids as I'm not all that fond of the surprise flushes I end up getting if I don't. |

| Fortunately my son was finished with potty training at the time of our last Disney Trip, however, we were right in the midst of it 6 months earlier on a trip to San Diego (Sea World, Zoo, Legoland). He was (is) pretty small and always had difficulty with the adult sized toilets. In order to not interupt the potty training, we brought along with us one of the small potty seats that fits on the toilet and makes it their "size". I also carried lots of wipes and completely wiped it down after each use. We carried it in it's own drawstring bag and kept it seperate from all our other items being carried beneath the stroller. Since he was very comfortable using the same style seat at home, he didn't hesitate using it on vacation and also worked out great for use in the hotel. We did have a couple of odd looks from security going through bag check...."what? never seen a potty seat?" The mini-post it's work great. You can keep enough in your pocket and have them ready in an instant to block the sensor. Also, as mentioned, take any and every opportunity to use the restroom. We pretty much use any restroom we walk past if it's been more that 30 minutes - especially before rides with any lines. It may be excessive, but I'd rather not deal with the alternative. Just in case, don't forget a change of clothes. Better to be safe than sorry. Good Luck! ![]()

| You can get fold up potty seats that store pretty easily in a bag or stroller. ![]() There aren't any small toilets anywhere on WDW property that I remember from when we were travelling with DD during potty training. :DEFINITELY stop as often as you can and make her try . . . especially if you are getting ready to get in a line for a ride. Our rule was "Stop in every restroom we pass." Needless to say, we're pretty well versed on the locations of the potties in the parks now. ![]()

| Do the baby care centers have the small potties? I don't have any little ones, so I don't know but I would think they would.

| I seem to remember there being small toilets at the baby center, but that's not always convenient. Depending on how long it's been since she's been in pull-ups, you may want to bring some along just in case. If she's having a hard time because of all the distractions and excitement, it might be prudent to use them. DD was just about to go into undies when we went to DLR. Our daycare provider recommended waiting, so that we weren't setting her up for failure. We bought Disney undies for her to get excited about wearing when we got back from the trip.

| I had a potty seat that folded up real small...something like that would be great for WDW. This isn't the exact one, but similar: Safety 1st Easy Care Adapter Seat - Babies 'R' Us - Babies "R" Us

| We always made sure we looked the various park maps over and knew where the restrooms were. When she needed to go we pretty well knew which direction to head. And when I had to go I made sure that I sat her on the potty so she could go. And bring a change of clothes just incase. I was lucky enough she wasn't scared of the big girl potty seat.
