| Photos etched in glass Hi all, Hoping someone remembers these. On our last trip to WDW I remember seeing (in one of the parks, can't remember where) a place that will take your photograph and etch it into a glass ornament, paperweight, block, etc. with a Disney theme. I didn't buy it at the time, thinking it was too expensive and heavy. Wouldn't you know I've regretted it ever since? So of course this time it is my must-get souvenier. Does anyone know what I am referring to and where they are? Thanks, pt |

| We had the kids picture taken in the Imagination Pavillion's Kodak Center and put into a glass block for my DH. One of the best souveniers we've done. May have to do it again....now that they are years older. Later we went back and purchased the light to place under it, so they'd show up better (and colorful).

| Just another note......you can find them online as well. DH decided he wanted to have one done, but waited until the last day so it was too late (as it wouldn't be ready until after we left). He found some places online that do them as well, so that's another option ![]()

| I always regretted not getting one of my Dad on his last trip, I think it was just so hard knowing he was not going to get to go again I didnt have the heart to ask him to go thru with it. I was always sorry. Hubby and I did ours for our Anniversary after the figment ride, and I have since had one of my Dad done from a picture of him.

| We had it done in 2003 on our "last" family trip with DS and DD (they're both married now). It was the nicest thing we ever got! I think it was at the Imagination with Figment that we had it done. It was costly but worth it! DH has put it on a pedestal base that has different colored lights in it. It really looks cool! Funny thing about it, DH had me carry it home in my carryon. At security in Orlando, they took me aside and opened my carryon because it looked "suspicious" on the XRay! (It's leaded glass) Glad they were doing their job but in the meantime, DD had to help me put my shoes on because the security guard wouldn't let me bendover!!
