New Kim Possible interactive attraction at Epcot

New Kim Possible interactive attraction coming to Epcot later this year.
Here's the scoop from AllEars:

New Interactive Attraction at Epcot with Disney’s Kim Possible (Disney News Blog)

Didn't they test run something like this a few years ago at Magic Kingdom?

I does sound an awful lot like the one some posted here about testing. How cool! Our kids will probably love it. Thanks for the link.

yes, this is essentially the same program that was tested a couple of years ago. they've done significant work with it since.

Ooooo...I can't wait. My kids Kim Possible and this sounds so cool! We'll be there in Feb 2009 (I think), so it should be up and running by then.

Yep. Sounds like they'll be taking the Pal Mickey technology to greater heights. I especially like the idea that it treats the entire park as a playground. Most of us already know that (our Treasure Hunts book and Steve Barrett's Hidden Mickeys books are good examples), but too many visitors think the parks are all about the rides.

This sounds great and will make the educational part of Epcot so much more intriguing to the kids. HOPE it will be in place by 11/2 week.
Will the kimmunicator be something you will purchase like pal Mickey?

Our family was chosen to "play test" the Kim Possible experience in August 2006. We had a blast, and DS got a special pin for participating. The "Kimmunicator" we used was similar to a cell phone, and we had to provide a credit card number in the event that we didn't return the "Kimmunicator".

I'm about 90% sure I posted something about it when we returned from our last trip, but haven't gone back in the archives to check. I'll post a link if and when I find it!!

Edited to add: Ok, I found a link...Reviews of Kim Possible Beta Test - August 2006

We enjoyed the play test a lot, and may give the "live" version a go next June!
