| A vacation warning.....check your statements!!! We just returned from our WDW vacation, and I was online checking our CC statement and saw a charge that we did not recognize as a "vacation expense". The transaction date and posting date coincide with our vacation dates......after a bit of research, the charge is recorded as "Mail Order and Telephone Order Services". Ummm....we weren't doing any mail order or telephone order shopping while we were away....but it does appear that someone has used my CC for their own purposes. I have contested the charge and am dealing with Disney Visa (who is being VERY nice about the whole thing.) Just a warning out there to check your bills RIGHT AWAY after you return and reconcile your statements with your reciepts...it appears that I will have more work to do in the future to ensure this does not happen again!!! This is not the sort of thing I wanted to deal with after vacation!!!!! I should also note that we used our CC to pay for all OOP meals/meal related expenses (e.g. gratuities) while on vacation due to the 5x rewards that is currently being offered....otherwise, I'm sure it is safer to just charge everything to your room, which we WOULD have done if not for the rewards offer!!! What's that about hindsight being 20/20??? |

| Thanks for the heads up!! I too just got back and charged the majority of our meals on my disney rewards visa. Ummm what 5X reward?? I am not aware of that, but HOPE I will be getting it too!!

| OMG! What a shocker to you I'm sure! I'm glad Disney Visa is being helpful. I hope you get a quick resolution. It's so sad that we have to stress and worry about such things

| You've just convinced me to try to leave the debit card in my wallet and use the KTTW card to take care of tips instead! Sorry you're dealing with this!

| I looked on the Disney Visa site and I couldn't find anything about a 5x rewards offer. What 5x benefits were you talking about?

| Hello, I have gotten this in the past, and so has my hubby, though from MC. Has been the exact same wording. It is not necessarily someone lese using it, but for phone and internet orders, can be the numbers have been transposed. They are usually really easy to contest, esp if the merchandise does not go to you, But it can be time-consuming to get them off! good luck!
