| It is SOO much fun!!! Congrats on going!! It was the highlight of our trip last fall! we really enjoyed... trick-or-treating riding rides and seeing characters during the fireworks (DD didn't like that they were so loud) the parade - AMAZING!!! 2nd one is generally quieter trick-or-treat trail just beyond Toon Town face painting in Toon Town (we didn't, but you may like it and...you HAVE to do the Haunted Mansion! It isn't so much that it's special that night, but how can you NOT ride it??!! They give you a map of where the good stuff is, and a trick-or-treat bag when you get your bracelet (similar to EMH). Even though the party doesn't start until 7pm, they'll let you in the main gate starting at 4pm that night with your party ticket. So if you don't have park hoppers, you CAN park hop that day!

| Don't miss the parade or the fireworks and try and find out which characters will be out - they're in Halloween gear and it's the only time we've ever seen all seven dwarves out together. ![]()

MNSSHP , and the kids will be dressing up. We picked out costumes that will be cool enough to endure the heat! That means shorts and light dresses for the kids. My husb and I will not dress up, but we will be wearing Halloween tees. I have heard that you can trick or treat, even without the costumes though.

| i agree with everything here....all of it is great. dressing up is optional, but this year i am going to do it with my two friends since i missed not being a part of the dress up people last year. yes, make it a cool (heat wise, people!) costume since it will be hot and humid even at night...esp. if it has rained. they give you the little trick or treat bag at the gate along with the map. it is a lot of fun. the decorations are out when you get there, hmmm...good question, i don't know if they are up the whole time or what. i think they are...at least the stuff on main street. looking forward to going myself on oct. 16! |

| When you enter the party with your ticket you will be given a wrist band and a trick or treat bag, regardless of whether you are in costume or not. Try not to miss the parade or fireworks. If you are going to be at MK before the day of the party, swing by guest services at City Hall on Main Street and see if they have a copy of the party map so you can do a little planning before the night of the party and you're not trying to figure it all out at the last minute. Most important thing to do is HAVE FUN!! Don't stress because you missed a dance party in Tommorrowland or story time with Belle. We've been four times and we never are able to catch everything. Just enjoy what you do get to see.

As for the party, we went on POTC, and when we came out like 15 min later they had a trick-or-treat station up and running, and signs all over indicating said t-o-t spots, etc! They're FAST!!! Other than t-o-t stations, they don't have much extra as far as decorations for the party. There are LOTS of characters wandering around, stopping for pic spots in their own costumes (ie Winnie dressed up as a Super Sleuth). spoiler alert!! I'm attaching a few picks with some of the signs they put up to indicate special t-o-t spots. ![]() ![]() ![]()
