| Samuri?? In one of the stack of books on WDW, there is a reference to a samurai on horseback that comes out around Japan. I've never seen him. Have I just be oblivious?

| There's a statue of a samurai on horseback towards the back of the pavilion, but in the time I've been covering Epcot in depth (over 10 years including pre-publication research) I've never encountered an actual person on horseback.

| Ok, I actually encountered this on one of my trips. And it was a guy on a horse in full regalia. It would have been somewhere between 2001 and 2004. I have a photo of me with him; I'd have to dig it out. But it did happen. Once.
