My verdict on trying Soarin' and TOT !!!!

Way back in May, before our trip to the World, I asked your advice about Soarin' and TOT. Pathetically I worry about anything that might make me sick.... sounds daft, but not if you don't like getting sick !

ANYWAY, back to the issue - I took all your advice, along with plenty of "encouragement" from my family, and braved both TOT and Soarin'.

Soarin' was AMAZING - a first for all of us, and a firm favourite. It was soooo lovely, nothing at all to be worried about, can't wait to ride that again next time. Wish we could have gone straight back on it. We were in row 3, so it'll be interesting to see if the view is better from the front 2 rows.

Tower of Terror - I thought the special effects were really cool. And, the drops - well they were not anywhere near as bad as I'd imagined, but I did find myself screaming a lot!!! (I scream at everything though), and I rode it twice. Both rides I thought we'd reached the end and were about to get off, and then the elevator started falling from the top again!!! I completely lost sight of whether we were up or down. Great fun, will ride again - SO glad I braved it.

Thanks again for all your advice.

We were in row 3, so it'll be interesting to see if the view is better from the front 2 rows.
The way Soarin' is set up, the view from all 3 rows is basically the same. However, from my own personal experience I have to say row 1 is the best. Why you ask? No feet haning in front of you. And IMO that IS the only difference between that and the other two rows.
