| Crowds 2nd Week of December & Itinerary My first December trip! ![]() But, what are your thoughts here in this forum? I'll go Dec 5th thru the 13th, and this is my itinerary (all my ADRs are done too!): Dec 5th Arrive at noon, check-in at ASMu. Go to Downtown, dine early at T-Rex. Dec 6th AK, arrive not later than 9:30am. Dinner at Boma. Dec 7th Epcot, arrive not later than 9:30am. Focus on Future World, dine at Flying Fish. See if at least we can hear the last CP show at 8pm. Dec 8th Sleep in, breakfast at Wolfang Puck Express, and do some shopping! Dine at Narcoossee's. Catch up Electrical Water Peagant, if not too late, ride the monorail to Epcot, and catch a bus there to ASMu. Dec 9th. MK day! Be there at rope drop. Early dinner at Liberty Tree Tavern so we can watch the SpectroMagic parade! Dec 10th Sleep in. DHS today, arrive before noon. This day worries me since it has Fantasmic! but it's a most do, let's see if the park doesn't get too crowded. After DHS closes, hit Downtown Disney and dine at Earl's. Dec 11th MK again, but no rope drop today, must likely too tired at this point! Sleep in then. Repeat all the favorites! Today is MVMCP, so I have no idea how the crowds will behave! Leave at 7pm for dining at Whispering Canyon Cafe. Dec 12th Epcot, also sleep in, I know by previous trips that each day it just gets harder to wake up early! Focus on WS. Dine at Le Cellier, at last! last trips only for lunch, now finally I'll get to try the mushroom filet! Bring it on!!! Dec 13th Goodbye

| Crowds are getting heavier at this time of year, but it was certainly pleasant at this time of year in 2008! You should check out our group meet thread in the Backyard! Lots of Passporters will be at the World at the same time as you!

It certainly was! The parks shouldn't be too crowded at that time but be aware that the time that you are there is the Pop Warner youth football and cheerleading championships. The kids usually stay in the All Star resorts as well as the Port Orleans resorts, so if you are staying at ASMu, there may be times when you notice a bit more in the way of noise/crowds due to the football and cheerleading kids. ![]()

| Your plans look good and we've never found the crowds to be too bad. Expect it to be busy towards the end of your stay, as there'll be a lot of Disney fans gathering in WDW, including PassPorter fans.

| Also, this is one of the low-crowd seasons when Disney "shutters" some of the buildings in various resorts, taking them out of the pool of available rooms. So, what looks like a busy time because you can't get a room at a resort, is actually just a time that the resort is only taking a specific number of bookings (as a cost-cutting measure to save on staffing.) Thanks everyone for your posts! Yes, I'm aware of Pop Warner, but as far as I understand, it's only in the resorts and sometimes in the buses when you really meet them, right? I've been reading horror stories about them, but I think I'll just relax and have a good time listening at their cheers . I have no choice for switching resorts, so I'll make do .My DH is treating not to go, since he has a job to finish before we go, and he's afraid that he will not make it in time .. so please send me some pixie dust!!! We've been planing this trip for months, and I don't want him to miss it!![]()
