I need to pre order the photopass cd for our upcoming trip. I know there use to be a special link to preorder it (and there was even a sticky on it, but I can't find it). I remember reading a post a few weeks back that they have changed this up and you are suppose to recieve an email about preordering IF you book direct with Disney. I DID book direct with disney and I might have (but not for sure) got said email. At the time I didn't know about the policy change, so I didnt read it very well because I wasn't ready to order it and I deleted it. SO- now what? Surely there is a way I can still preorder for the discounted rate since I booked w/ Disney

I'm still trying to figure it out;
at one point on the page it says there is no longer a pre order discount,
but then later down the page it says those who booked w/ Disney should recieve an email for the discount.
I think I'm gonna call Disney and see if they can resend the email.

If you get an email for a photopass discount; DO NOT delete it because they can not resend it!

I have not gotten the offer although we have WD Travel Company paperwork in hand for our upcoming trip, booked through a TA. I looked at the info at the above link and found this:

Those who booked through a Travel Agent or DVC Member Services must speak to a Disney's PhotoPass representative by calling 407-560-4300 and mention they have an upcoming reservation for which they will not receive the email.

I called not once but twice--got the same guy both times!--and was first told that I was not eligible. I told him that I had paperwork from the WD Travel Co. and a Disney reservation number. He said to wait and see if I got the offer. I tried calling again, and this time I think he must have said talked to someone, because he told me that Photopass did not send out the emails, that they came from Marketing, and that if I did not get an offer email by 10 days before my trip, I should call back and they would try to get it for me. So I have my electronic calendar marked to remind me to call at 10 days, which will be 11/19. We'll see how it comes out then. They are really making folks work for this discount!

I got an email about 45 days prior to my trip with the pre order information for the Photopass CD. I have until the day before I leave to pre order the CD. And I noticed in my paperwork that came last week, there is an offer in there for the CD too. My advice would be to check your paperwork.

I received my email abput 45 days out as well, just this week as a matter of fact. I went on line and pre-ordered the photo pass and I was even able to customize it with one of my own pictures from a previous trip. Can't wait to see how it turns out. Good luck.

This is the link that I received in my email from Disney. This link expires 12/6 even though we don't leave until 12/14? In any case, I don't know if it will work for you, but you might give it a try. Good Luck.

That is what they told me also; that it comes from marketing- but they didn't say anything about calling back, just said they could not do it.

My paperwork never came- I told them that today and turns out they had the address messed up, so they are resending it. I'll be sure to check my paperwork when it gets here (hopefully soon!)

It worked! I just pre ordered the cd for $99! ($105 after tax).
I bet it's the same link for everyone and I'm sure the system knows whether or not you booked w/ Disney. Thanks again! I'm all set.....

Joanne, I sure hope you purchased your CD, because when I logged onto the link to see if it would work, it said this offer has already been claimed. So apparently it only works once!

Oh no! I hope so to..... I just thought maybe it was the same link for everyone and as long as you booked w/ Disney, it allows you to get the discount. Based on Joanne's wording- I don't think she had gotten it yet. I never would have guessed that; I would feel terrible!

I didn't plan on purchasing the photopass CD, that's why I wasn't worried about sending the link to B.M.

I guess now we know that the link can only be used once. Good info to have. And I'm glad someone could use the link since I didn't want to!
