| Hi Everyone- We are hopefully heading down to WDW for a few days in early December (not totally set yet due to Airtran cancelling flights, but that's another story). We have been there during Christmas week, but never with our daughter during the holidays. She will only be 17 months old, but she's already been there twice and we really think she will get a kick out of all the decorations and lights. Do you think MVMCP will be worth it for us? It will cost a little over $100 for our two tickets. We currently have plans to give her plenty of nap time in the afternoon before heading back to MK around 6:00. Even with the extra sleep, she is unlikely to make it past 9:00-10:00, which should allow us to make it for the fireworks. So that would give us approximately 2-3 hours of actual "party" time that we are paying for. We would like her to get to see both the Christmas parade and Holiday Wishes, and this would be the only way to accomplish that (although we could see the fireworks from the Poly). We're just not sure if we are going to get enough out of it to justify the price. Any insight would be much appreciated!

| We did the MVMCP in 2006 with a 3 years old. With a nice nap in the afternoon, she was able to enjoy the Holiday parade and Holiday Wishes. We did enjoy the party for about 3h. We went dancing, rode some of her favorites rides, hate some free cookies and hot chocolate and found a great spot for the parade and fireworks. Well worth the price for us! Really hope this helped.

| Thanks for sharing that. Although there is a huge difference between a 1 and 3 year old, it's good to hear you thought it was worth it. We are certainly leaning towards going for it, especially because the parks are not open that late in early December so it's not like we would be missing something else. The whole intent of this trip is to let Maddy take in everything that is Christmas at WDW, so I think it would be a huge mistake to miss the MK parade and fireworks (the new commercial may have done me in). Thanks again!

| We took our oldest to MVMCP when she was 2 1/2 and she loved it. We did the long afternoon nap as well and she made it through the parade and fireworks easily. Just take a comfy stroller with you so if she does start to get tired she can just lay down while you either enjoy more of the party or head back to the resort.

| I would go, especially since she's free! DS was 2 1/2 on our first time to MVMCP and he lasted until around 10 PM. Then we just put him in the stroller and went along our merry way! You should still be able to see most of the stuff!

| Although I've never toured with toddlers, I'd say go for it. The holiday parade, the atmosphere, and don't forget Santa make this an unforgettable time.

| I would do it. Since you will be giving her a later nap/rest time and maybe some exercise at the resort than you should have a few hours. Have a great time.

| Thanks everyone! Glad to hear some motivating comments! We really want her to experience everything while we're there, so the party certainly allows that. We're very realistic when it comes to her limitations, so we won't be the people you see dragging an infant on a ride at 11:00 pm kicking and screaming. A solid afternoon nap for all three of us should go a long way. We'll let you know how it goes! Thanks again!

| I think she'll love it! We took DS when he was 1 to MNSSHP and left after the fireworks and I think he had a good time - I know the rest of us did. We're taking him to MVMCP this year and I think he'll enjoy it even more (he turned 2 in October). Good Luck & enjoy!
