Fantasmic pkg. for a solo traveler??? I was thinking of chancing it and not booking a dinner pkg for Fantasmic, but I wanted some opinions. My sensible inner voice says "You just have to find a seat for yourself, you're planning on going Thursday February 12th(before the President's Day crowds)and you are a gastric bypass patient, so why pay for a meal that you won't be able to finish." My irrational inner voice says "it'll be right after Fantasmic opens after rehab and maybe the president's day crowds will start early!" Help!!! signed, torn between to voices !!!

Re: Fantasmic pkg. for a solo traveler??? Tough decision!!! One thing, at Hollywood and Vine, it's a buffet, so you coul eat as little as you want(or can eat), on the other hand, you'd still pay the same price at a place that will allow you to fill up your plate 20 times! I'd like to think that you could just go and get a seat with no problem. It's not like you have a party of 20 people right?? Good luck with your conflicting voices!!! Wendy

Re: Fantasmic pkg. for a solo traveler??? I think it depends on how early you want to go, too. If you don't mind going earlier and waiting, you may want to forego the expensive dinner. If you don't like waiting on those metal benches and don't mind the cost, do the package. I didn't do the package when it was just my Mom and me. When I bring the family, with 2 kids, we're doing the package. I know one of my kids won't even begin to eat his $ worth and I certainly wouldn't normally spend that much on the rest of us - but I don't want to wait with 2 fighting siblings!
