Easter Touring Tips Please :)

Hi everyone. I hope you can help!

My DH's boss is planning his first trip to Disney Apr 8-15. I am helping him plan (and may go down for a few days and play tour guide.) I've never been during a peak holiday time. Do any of you have any tips and tricks to help w/crowds etc? Should we avoid the parks on Easter Sun? He will be staying off site.

TIA

Re: Easter Touring Tips Please :)

Hi minemoz1: From what I have heard about MK on Easter I'd rather stay home and watch the parade on ABC. Well at least hang out at the resort that day anyway. Good luck and remember the magic. Jerry

Re: Easter Touring Tips Please :)

My advice:

Do the parks first thing in the morning and that time of year I might even get there up to an hour before opening.

Fastpass whenever possible- obtain them as soon as possible as I am sure during that time of year they all will be gone in a few hours.

I would also suggest having a pretty good game plan before stepping a foot in any of the parks so few minutes are waster on deciding what to do.

Hope he has great success and an even better time!

Re: Easter Touring Tips Please :)

Michele,

We have gone over Easter week many, many times and have had no trouble at all seeing everything! The hours are normally extended and it is crowded, but the weather is gorgeous!! We have stayed both on and off property as well. I have spent four Easter Sundays at the parade and enjoyed it very much! Hope this helps!

Re: Easter Touring Tips Please :)

Thanks for your replies. It turns out that Dh's boss didn't check airfare before deciding to go at Easter. He got quite a shock on how expensive the airfares are. They have decided to wait and go later in the year.

Thanks again
