I really hope everything's OK there right now. It must be awful for everyone on vacation and I'm also hoping they get good weather tomorrow to make up for today.

I can't even imagine what everyone is going through there. Imagine being stuck at your resort with little or no options.

I was reading on Deb's site, allearsnet, that there are no ps for dinner. If you have one, they'll honor it but new ones are not being accepted. That leaves chaos at the food courts!

DD is in food and beverage mgmt...she must be very busy! I haven't heard from her or DS#1 since last night. I hope they are keeping busy so they don't worry!

Re: Charlie causes WDW to post shorter hours

Since everyone is being told to stay in their resorts, I wonder what everyone from the campground is doing! I am thinking of everyone! After being in a hurricane myself, tomorrow should be sunny, however, there may be too much damage for anyone to enjoy the rest of their trip. I truly hope that I am wrong!

Re: Charlie causes WDW to post shorter hours

I feel bad for those stuck there too - I was stuck there during a hurricane in October 99 - the day I was supposed to leave too! We ended up having to leave our room at Old Key West because they were already booked that day, and so we got a room off-property, down by Sea World at the last minute. Stuck in Orlando for two extra days, though on the second day, we got a bonus day at Sea World while waiting for flights to get back on track. The worst part for us was getting hit in the wallet - those extra two days cost us quite a bit more than we were expecting!
