monorail Help Ok guys fill me in here so I know I have the right info. There are 3 lines right? where does each go? And which one can you ask to ride in front? Some have posted we should take all trips around the world. The only one we have done is MK to Contemp.and back. Otherwise we have used the buses. Thanks for your info Marylee

Re: monorail Help OK, here goes: (in no particular order) First one goes express from TTC to the MK and back. Next one goes from TTC to Contemporary, to Grand Floridian and to Poly and also stops at MK. Last one goes from TTC to Epcot and back again. As far as I know, you can ask to ride up front in any of them. It is at the discretion of the CM driving the monorail. They will take up to 4 adults up front. Hope this helps!

monorail Help Ok there is the resort monorail that stops at the three resorts, MK, and TTC. It runs clockwise around the lagoon. Then there is the Express monorail that runs counter-clockwise around 7 Seas Lagoon stopping at MK and TTC. Lastly there is the Epcot monorail that runs to TTC and back. As far as I know you may ask to sit in front of all of them. Are you gonna try the boats anywhere?

Re: monorail Help I ride in the front everytime I'm on the monorail. I wait as long as I need to. This helps my claustrophobia. Had a run in on the last trip in the regular car and had to jump off just before the doors closed. The wait usually only lasts a few minutes. They board you pretty quick, and you get special boarding passes too. I have a pretty big collection of them so far! The Epcot view is GREAT from the monorail!!!

Re: monorail Help DD and I got the front going into Epcot this summer and it was wonderful. We rode in midafternoon when there wasn't a large group of people riding. Had no problem getting the front seat. Most people don't know to ask.

Re: monorail Help We love riding in the front car of the monorail. Remember when Florida had all those fires?? Well, when we rode in the front with the CMm he pointed out the smoke and from the front car the fire sure did look close. But he assured us everything was okay. If you have time, ride all the lines so you'll know where they go. I especially like the one around Epcot. We can look at the crowd level from there. Good luck! ![]() Regina

Re: monorail Help I love riding in the front! When we went last November, we were lucky enough to ride in the front for 1.5 loops around the MK area!! It just wasn't that busy! I'm still trying to get that front seat ride into Epcot!!

Re: monorail Help There are supposedly certain monorail stations where you're not allowed to board the front cab, but I'm not sure what the actual deal is on this. I remember reading it somewhere, but in practice it always seems to be up to the attendants and pilot.
