| Hurricane updates Deb Wills' site has first hand accounts of what's happening in Florida from both guests staying at Vero Beach and WDW. None of the parks will be open today and there'll be no transport. From what I can see, as of yesterday, there had been no damage at WDW, but the comment was that the storm was definitely coming closer. These accounts are well worth reading, as it brings it home to you what people are going through right now. Continued  to everyone in Frances' path.     |

| Re: Hurricane updates I am going to have to tune into what they are saying over on Deb's site then!!! I have been glued to the Weather Channel all day . . . need some new information from a different source!!!  The new forecast has the hurricane coming straight at us here in the panhandle of FL . . . yippee!!!  Though, by the time it gets to us, it is more than likely going to be a regular ol' tropical storm . . . still, I bought extra batteries and flashlights today and made sure we have enough food and water stashed, should we need it and I am going out Sunday evening to move my plants in so they won't drown!!!        |

| Re: Hurricane updates It is good to hear the hurricane is a #1 when hitting Orlando. Still 90 mph winds, but I'm so relieved it isn't as bad as they first thought. DD has not called in 2 days. She is on the ride-out crew and has been working non-stop since 4 am Friday. I know she must be exhausted! She's in food/bev mgmt so she is busy keeping all of the room-bound guests boxed lunches. I know she's alright, but I'll be glad to hear from her. I love reading the first-hand updates on Deb's site. Thanks for the reminder of the link Cheryl!  |
