Holy cow! That's alotta mula!

I have this suspicion that they'll raise ticket prices to help cover the cost. I don't know that for a fact, but who knows what'll happen??

You have to wonder how long it takes to recoup that big of a loss?

That's certainly going to hurt the bottom line! Now we know why they need to get up and running so fast after the storms! We'll be doing our part in December

That's not even including repairing damage and paring CM's overtime as they were not allowed to leave during the storm. Incredible.

I myself, Wendy, am wishing for pixie dust to be sprinkled on the people of Disney! I'm going to think positive...only way I can survive... and hope that they go the other way and put out some great deals and/or packages to get a lot of people back in and make it up! I know, wishful thinking...but it might work! lol Ruth

We also heard that they carry some sort of insurance that guards against these kind of lose. That's a lot of tourist dollars, plus Florida as a whole probably lost that much or more in tourist dollars--the beaches, etc.

I too will do my part when I am down there! If you think about it, the whole state of Florida is losing lots of money. Airports are losing money for people cant fly which trickles to places like car rentals, Mears and TTC which goes to resorts and hotels to parks and merchandise to resturaunts and so on. It's really sad, but in reality what can we do about it.
