Where is Sleeping Beauty?

Having never gone to WDW as a little girl, but rather twice as an adult (this next trip will be #3), I feel like I missed out on the magic of meeting and greeting my favorite princesses. So...this trip I plan to take full advantage and find them to get pics with me, autographs, etc. However, my MOST favorite princess growing up was Aurora from Sleeping Beauty and I've never heard anyone mention seeing her. Can anyone tell me if she's available for meet and greets and where I might find her? I used to listen to that book on album (remember those 78's?) over and over again, dancing in my room...ahhhh. Special memories. I hope someone out there can answer my question and hopefully help fulfill this inner child's wish. We're leaving this Saturday. Thanks.

Re: Where is Sleeping Beauty?

We met her in the Princess room at Toon Town Fair. We also met her at the MK just through the entrance, first thing in the morning. If you don't find her, ask a cast member and they should be able to call and find out for you!

Re: Where is Sleeping Beauty?

Thank you so much for the tips!!! I will definitely check out those locations. Don't know that I can convince DH and two DSs to go to the breakfast (though one never knows!), but I can definitely look for her elsewhere. Thank you!!!!!

Re: Where is Sleeping Beauty?

We found her around the castle area with my grand daughter, who thought she had died and gone to heaven. Also, try the Princess' character breakfast at the Ankerhaus in Epcot. What a wonderful experience for the little girl in all of us.

Re: Where is Sleeping Beauty?

We met Aurora at CRT, at PSB, in Toontown in the tent, and in the World Showcase twice (once near the International Gateway and the other inside France where they have the Beauty and the Beast greeting area)

Re: Where is Sleeping Beauty?

Saw her at CRT, PSB, the town square in MK just after the opening ceremonies, but the best time was about midday in the MK just to the right of Tony's Town Square in that little arbor area. She was all alone. My daughter, my nieces and I all got to pose for pictures and chat with her for a good amount of time. I don't think that she's all that hard to find, especially in the MK. Good luck.

Re: Where is Sleeping Beauty?

Apart from breakfast at Cinderella's Royal Table and the Princess Storybook Breakfast, we've met her at International Gateway in Epcot (between England and France) and also in Toontown at the Magic Kingdom. Best of luck with finding her!

Re: Where is Sleeping Beauty?

I think everyone has pretty much covered all the places Aurora can be found in the theme parks with the sole exception of when they have the Halloween or Christmas parties in the M.K. Last December at MVMCP, we were able to meet and greet with Aurora and Prince Philip at the same time. In fact all of the princesses were out, accompanied by their respective princes and they were spread out in the area just behind the castle and just inside Fantasyland. It was truly a magical experience. Best of luck in finding your fave princess!

Re: Where is Sleeping Beauty?

Thanks everyone! I'll definitely keep my eyes peeled and I begged my boys to help me look for her as well. My 10yo DS thinks it's cool that mom's inner "little girl" is still there (he had a real hard time turning 10...doesn't want to grow up..definitely a Peter Pan wannabe!). I tell him that's why I had kids in the first place, so that I wouldn't ever have to grow up!
Counting down to Magic time! Thanks again!
